Innovation backed by evidence

Our flagship platform – Guidance® – provides more informed treatment decisions. Our patented pooled antibiotic susceptiblity testing accounts for bacterial interactions that may impact antibiotic resistance.

GUIDANCE® UTI leverages unique technology to transform patient care and champion antibiotic stewardship by better addressing polymicrobial infections, where bacterial interactions can impact antibiotic resistance. Guidance® UTI helps providers direct personalized treatment to resolve infections in complicated UTIs.

Instead of relying on resistance gene information alone, GUIDANCE® UTI also leverages Pooled Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing (P-AST™), a unique technology that accounts for bacterial interactions in polymicrobial infections that may alter antibiotic resistance.1

While culture can take 3-5 days, GUIDANCE® UTI provides personalized results, including antibiotic susceptibility, in less than one day from receipt at lab‡, reducing the need for empiric therapy and supporting antibiotic stewardship initiatives.

Data Repository and Biobanking

We built a robust research resource that can facilitate the exploration of biological determinants of health and disease.

Our large data repository includes over 300,000 cases of suspected UTI data.

We compared:

  • positive versus negative cases
  • polymicrobial cases
  • antibiotic susceptibility
  • regional, seasonal and demographic differences
